Tomas Maestre Marina

The Tomas Maestre marina is a lovely place to take a stroll and stop at one of the cafes, bars or restaurants for a snack whilst you take in the view. 

This area is particularly pleasant to go to on a nice warm evening where you can eat outside at a leisurely pace watching the world go by and afterwards head to the cocktail bars. Whether you are looking for a romantic meal for two or a family meal you will find plenty of choice. There is a very good Italian restaurant and also a Belgian Creperie with fantastic views of the sunset across the Mar Menor. Other restaurants include a Mexican, Asian, traditional Spanish restaurants and restaurants specialising in barbeques. 

From the marina you can take the foot ferry to Santiago de la Ribera or take a tourist boat trip into the Med. 

The Med boat trip takes about one hour and takes you on a route past the apartment and around a small island which is popular for divers and snorkellers. The water is so clear that the boat stops to allow you to view the marine life through the boat's glass bottom. We saw some flying fish on the last trip we took. There are also longer boat trips in the Mar Menor which drop you off at an island for the day.

From the marina you can book a trip on a speedboat, hire jet-skis, charter a boat or take a diving trip.
